About

I am a Franco-American living in 21st century San Francisco. Full of French wit and cowboy crass, I’m a mixed bag of modernity and heritage. This dichotomy and balance is how I first became enamored with storytelling. It’s a way to build a bridge between seemingly disparate subjects, cultures, and people.

During my undergrad, I studied French and Classical Civilizations (after flirting with Mathematics). I was able to study abroad in Paris and graduate in 3 years. I then went to graduate school for my M.A. in Mythological Studies, an actual dream come true. My only regret is that I couldn’t take classes forever. And that it wasn’t free. And that the chairs in class couldn’t recline.

I currently apply my expertise in mythology to the branding world as a Brand Strategist, helping brands find their voices. Tired of the empty capitalism surrounding us every.damn.day, I root my clients in timeless archetypes that doesn’t feel forced or exploitative. I won’t say authentic. You can’t make me.

I’ve lived and traveled all over. I’m bilingual. I strike up conversations with strangers. I’ve had so so so many different jobs and life experiences. All of that just means that when a good story happens, I know it. I’ve dedicated my life to studying and exploring narratives. I’m continually impressed by ones that resonate the eternal chords at the center of what it means to be human.

This site is where I’ll be focusing on that nerdy exploration, particularly in film and television.
